Hero Honda Hunk prices,reviews and specifications

Hero Honda recently launched their not much awaited bike Hero Honda Hunk. Already talks about it and specially its name, Hero Honda could have used some better name. Well, Hunk is still, if you look into dictionary then it is a very manly word. This machine has almost similar power and torque to CBZ xtreme, ie. 14.2bhp at 8500 rpm and 12.8 nm at 6500 rpm. Then engine displacement is 149.2 cc . And the engine is set to have tumble flow ( I can't comment over it as do not have enough information about it).

Looking over design, the bike has over all a big look as we had with CBZ xtreme. This time grab rail is single piece ie not like CBZ xtreme which as splitted one looked really cool. One thing I noticed here that they wanted to bike to look shorter and sporty and hence you can see on back that they have kept seat little shorter though ideally should stretch a bit more, anyhow it is looking unique. What I think that there was something missing in CBZ xtreme and Hero Honda thinks that to compete with Apache RTR and new pulsar, they should work around and hence we have "Hunk".

Prices and Fuel Consumption

Fuel consumption is said to same as CBZ but with little improvement. And bike comes in two version, a kick start costing Rs. 55000 ex showroom Delhi and Rs. 57000 for Electric start ex-showroom Cochin. Price is all standard.

What Indianroadies thought of HeroHonda Hunk

These are the reviews from our own experience. Riding the Hunk upto the second service is good. That means that with in the short period of time the engine becomes unstable.Actually this bike is not very much stable. When you ride this bike you will surely experience those mistakes. But the company is telling that there is no sound from the bike and also there is no unstableness in the bike. Only advantage that we see in this bike is This from the great company Hero Honda.

The buzz about Honda Jazz is doing the rounds for quite sometime and Zigwheels has been giving you an exclusive coverage of the same-from preview, to eye popping slideshow to the launch date to competition check. However, when it comes to any automobile, pricing is also one of the major factor. The car which is launching on June 10, will have a price tag of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes the Jazz the most expensive car to be produced in India, leaving behind Hyundai i20 and Skoda Fabia. Skoda's Fabia is the most-expensive compact car at present, with a price tag of Rs 4.9 lakh on the petrol version and Rs 5.8 lakh on diesel. The company manages to sell only a few hundred units monthly. The Fabia is closely followed in pricing by the Hyundai i20.
The Jazz, to be competed against Skoda Fabia, Tata Indigo, Ford Fussion, Maruti D'Zire and the soon to be launched Ritz, would come with a 1.2-liter engine made specifically for the Indian market to deliver high fuel efficiency.The Honda Jazz is said to be more spacious than other premium hatchbacks, and has safety features like ABS, Honda's G-CON technology, and airbags.The Jazz will be Honda's first product in the big-volume compact car segment, and is expected to witness modest sales, considering the price-sensitive nature of Indian market.
The Jazz would share the platform and many components with Honda City, making it easier for Honda to source the inputs in bulk at competitive prices and keep localisation at over 70 per cent to start with. The City sedan costs Rs 7.8-9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and sells around 4500-5000 cars in a month.
