Hyundai has unveiled the RB sub-compact family sedan concept for the 2010 Moscow International Motor Show. Basically a repackaged Verna / Accent with redesigned bumpers, grille, hood and headlights, the RB is virtually production ready for the Russian market.

Over A Hundred Porsche Vehicles Participate in Peachtree Drive

More than 100 new and old Porsche vehicles made a special trip for the Porsche Peachtree Drive from the Governor's Mansion to the High Museum of Art in downtown Atlanta. Despite a little rain, PCA members, dealer guests and Porsche Cars North America employees gathered outside to help celebrate the public opening of Porsches lead sponsorship of the High Museum of Arts exhibition, The Allure of the Automobile.
Nearly a quarter of a mile long caravan of Porsches, led by a Carrera GT driven by PCNA CEO, Detlev von Platen — made the 6-mile, police-escorted drive down Peachtree street to the museum.

Audi Superbowl Ad

Audi will air a humorous commercial during Super Bowl XLIV to promote its diesel technology that features environmental-crusading “Green Police.”

“We decided the usual Audi style of subtle and understated would not be appropriate here,” said Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen. “We knew that it needed to be a bit bolder and that humor is a very effective way to make an impression during the Super Bowl.”

The 60-second spot shows a shopper asking for plastic bag instead of a paper bag when the Green Police comes running and slams the shopper’s head on the price scanner and says “You picked the wrong day to mess with the green police, plastic boy.”

An Audi vehicle does not appear until near the end, when the Green Police allows an A3 diesel to pass through a roadblock while keeping other gas-guzzling vehicles waiting in a long line.

Hyundai Super Bowl Commercial 2010

Hyundai had a cool Super Bowl commercial in 2009 featuring a thrilling car ride with music by the Smashing Pumkins. According to the New York Times, the Hyundai Super Bowl 2010 commercial is featuring NFL star Brett Favre.
The Hyundai Super Bowl ads are making fun of Brett Favre's on and off retirement from football.

Hyundai will air actually two Super Bowl ads. The one with Favre is promoting the 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty and the second one is pitching the 2011 Sonata against the Mercedes-Benz.

The Hyundai ads have a very famous narrator with actor Jeff Bridges.

Driving upside down through a tunnel is only a matter of down force combined with g-forces created during the loop, verse gravity. The total pressure of down force when combined with the g-forces created by effectively circling the perimeter of the tunnel must exceed the total weight of the vehicle and driver. If this level of pressure can be reached, a vehicle can in theory drive upside down through a tunnel. The latest Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG video suggests that "practical testing" of their sports car allows it to drive upside down. Mercedes-Benz isn't the only one to claim this, the Gumpert Apollo previously stated that it's vehicle could also drive upside down through a tunnel. However, Gumpert failed to find a driver before Mercedes-Benz.
